Once a recording studio for many of the great soul artists, this soul music museum is filled with the history and culture of soul music.
This museum is originally the home of the Stax Record Company which went bankrupt in 1976. The museum built in 2003 by anonymous philanthropists wanted to revitalize the surrounding community.
